Yamaha 90 2 stroke starting issue

Just this past Saturday I was able to start the motor with no problem for a fishing trip on Sunday. I back the boat into the water on Sunday morning and I am unable to turn the motor over at all. It acted as if I did not have it in nutural. I double and tripple checked that I did have it in nutural and I made sure the safety clip was attached to the automatic shutoff switch..still nothing when I turn the ignition(no sounds no clicking noises, no nothing. I changed the main 20 amp fuse that controls the power to start the engine and run the rest of the on board electronics, and still nothing. I feel I have a good battery due to the fact I started it on Sat. with no problems at all. I also have strong power tilt and trim. I know nothing about motors so that is why I am asking for help.
