After running fully normally 20minutes yesterday, my old favourite 5hp (5CS 1987) just stopped, not slowly but as if I had pushed the stop button.
Fresh fuel is there, spark plug fine, I get ignition, cylinder compression is fine, no visible leakages anywhere.
Today I bought and replaced all carburettor gaskets/float/needle and cleaned out carburettor with compressed air.
Assembled again and it still just wont run, at max it runs 1-3seconds but mostly just dead when I crank it, won't even go with starter gas!
I can't see what the problem can be...
-Can there possibly be an issue with the CDI, or with any of the coils (ignition or pulser)??
As if the timing has gotten incorrect, or something...
