"Spent half the day trying to get a 2hp motor running. Would run briefly, then quit. I had set the points to 0.35mm (as I discovered on the internet) but then, after cleaning the carb and trying everything else, I enlarged the gap to 0.5mm (similar to my 2hp Johnson) and presto - perfect. Anyone know the correct gap?"
