Wont rev after restart 1985 mariner 75hp

Motor will start and run fine when we first put the boat in the water. After fishing for a bit, we restart to motor. It idles fine and creeps alone in gear. Any attempt at more throttle results in a bogging and die. After about a 1 or 2 minutes of idling the motor will return to normal and rev fine.

Is this a heat soak issue? Would a worn impeller cause this?

Open low speed mixture screws 1/8th turn at a time and test.-------That motor needs a new impeller about every 3 years.
