Why does my motor sound like this?

Hi!
We have recently bought our first boat and now it suddenly will not start and makes a strange sound.
My guess is that the battery is alright but either the motor needs gas or a new ignition.
I have tried to pump gas and also pushed the shoker before the recording of this video.

you are not turning the motor over and what i think you are hearing is the starter solenoid picking and dropping...your battery could have a bad connection or is not charged...this is a starting point....please get back to us if that dont fix it..do you have a voltmeter installed on the boat?do you have a multi meter and know how to use it?
 
you are not turning the motor over so forget gas as the problem at this point...the motor has to turn at at least 300 rpm to get fire....
 
dead battery, corroded battery cables. make all connections clean and bright, including the ground connections. that is the solenoid clicking because it doesn't have enough juice to operate properly.
