When way my evinrude engine made

hello- I am new to this site.

hello- I am new to this site. I recently bought a 25HP Evinrude outboard engine for my boat. It is sort of gray in color and has a fiberglass cover. Can anyone out there tell me about what year this engine was made? Thanks!

If you can find the model number of it you can check this link to find the date of manufacture (if it is before 1980). There should be a nameplate with the model and serial number, might be on the mounting bracket.
