Wet OMC System check Gauge

Unfortunately i flipped my boat. I am wondering if the System check gauge can prevent the starter from working. It tried a couple of times then quit now there is nothing. The power trim woks but it just does not try to start.

Systems Check model puts it at 1996 or above.

Look at the starter solenoid. Find the terminal that has a yellow wire with a red stripe.

Jump the solenoid terminal with the yellow/red attached to the +12 Battery cable terminal at the starter solenoid.

Starter should operate. Use a large jumper wire, maybe # 16 or #18 gauge.

This is just a test to see if the starter and solenoid is still working.
