1985 jhonson 90hp I just removed the lower half and the motor installed a water hose to the water tube and water cums out fine ran water at the bottom of the motor water cums out of the pee hole and the heads. I have a new water pump kit.

when we run the boat in the lake and I remove the 2 small hoses frum the heads the water just spits out. should we have a lot of water!
can I have the impeler fins in the rong direction??
