Water jet modification for 1968 Evinrude 55 hp

Can somebody tell me if there is a modification for the 68 Evinrude 55 hp that allows a water jet (pee tail) to be seen above the water line? This is to prevent the engine from over heating from lack of water.

Easy to install a pee streamer.--There might be a plug on the side of the block where you install a fitting.------Tested your overheat light?----Or install a buzzer. ----I have seen lots of motors with tell tales that overheated.

Thanks mate. Does Marine Engine have a pee streamer kit or do you just make one up with a threaded plug and a tube?

Remove plug , item #4 I think.----Install fitting for small hose.----Get fitting for lower cowling listed on motors 1980 and newer..
