Water flow problem

I just installed a new lower unit (SEI) on my Merc 150 , when I took out the old unit the copper tube came out with it, So when I put the new lower unit back on I just used a flash ligh to slide the copper tube back up in side. So the new lower unit went on fine until the last 1/4 inch, It got real snug and I was an ass and just worked my way around tightening the nuts until I heard a snap and boom it was together. So then I hooked up the hose to the muffs and sent water to the lower unit. I then started it up and low and behold I got water comming out of the exhaust and nothing comming out of the pee holes. What should I do next. I know I have to remove the lower unit but what should I be looking for HELP!!!

A broken water tube. Hard to stab it back up there without pulling the power head adapter off.

So does that mean I gotta take the hole power head off?
