VRO2 Installation quick helpful question 1996 130hp

What's a fair price (just for labor) to pay to have a VRO installed on a 96 Johnson 130HP. I'm not holding anybody to this. I just want an idea of what's fair.

One Hour Tops.

Why not install it yourself, it doesn't require rocket science mentality.

Re: VRO2 Installation quick helpful question

Yeah I know but the carbs/linkage may need adjustment as another badly recommended tech repaired this VRO then kept screwing around with my carbs and linkage instead of just admitting the VRO repair sucked. I told him to leave since the guy was actually charging me for experimenting with what to do next. So I want someone familiar with the rest of the motor to put a new in for me in case there's more to be done after that. Thanks for your info on the hour for the VRO part.

yes,..ONE hour to install it!......then,..u have another hour,...of PROPERLY testing and verifying its operation,........I always say...it is NOT,..plug-n-play...

Better not to flip a coin but rather to follow JWB's first reply.

Re: VRO2 Installation quick helpful question

Thanks. Tech came by yesterday. He installed it, adjusted the carbs, and parts and labor were $400. I'm happy now. George
