VRO Sensor 1998 200 hp

Can anyone describe or show me how to replace the no oil sensor on a VRO for a 1998 Johnson 200. I have a spare that I would like to place on my existing unit. Trying to trouble shoot a no oil alarm when there is adequate oil in the tank. Diagrams are welcome.

I didn't know they came off without breaking the plastic

Ah ok. My mechanic said he has a couple of old ones laying around and that he would replace the no oil sensor on mine with on of the spares. I was under the impression that you had to replace the entire unit too. Which I did in 2008. Thanks D

Is it a NO oil or a LOW oil sensor? The LOW oil sensor is located in the oil tank.

No oil - wish it was as simple as the low oil.

the no oil--'sensor' is the electronics module,on the vro,and not sold seperately,to my knowledge..if bad,..a new vro is required,and prob needed,...anyway.
