Not sure why but cylinders filled with water while out running, Owner pulled plugs and blew out water and oiled cylinders down immediately after happening. NO water in oil just cylinders. Wouldn't restart, got towed in. Found a bad cap and rotor, replaced them and it would run but diacomm showed bad map, ran only above idle and when brought to idle it would die out. Checked map circuit for ref voltage, grounds and opens, circuits ok. Replaced map. Cleared codes and restarted, no new codes. Runs good until it hits operating temp, runs rich and rough. Iac functions correctly, tps runs smooth with no bad spots, map readings within range. CTS reads within a few degrees of temp gauge and temp gun. What I don't see is the injection pulse changing when it gets up to temp, Any ideas on where to go from here? Shutting down for holidays, ran out of time. Problem just nagging at me while home for holidays. Thanks for any ideas and help, Guppy.
