"looking for some help. I have a 1996 27 Ft Chris Craft concept w/ twin 5.0L EFI at 3600 rmp my port engine starts to spudder like as if, it was hitting a rev limiter. The starbort engin runs perfect can run it right up to 5000 rpm's with no problems Does anyone have any Ideas on what might cause this problem"
 
Have you checked the fuel pump

Have you checked the fuel pump for proper pressure? (See your OEM manual for this spec)
Will a '96 EFI allow an owner to pull a code?

Yeah i'm having the same problem with my 96 volvo penta omc, 23' four winns!! I changed the impeller on the water pump, but i noticed that my temp gauge isn't isn't registering a temp. I can run fine at 2k rpm. I'm also going to change out the thermostat.
