So this is going to ramble......
I bought a boat with a bad motor. It has rigging for a 2016 verado. I found a low hour 2006 200 verado that I am going to put on it. I believe all i need to do is change the DTS module and link it with the motor. Here's where it gets tricky. The previous owner told me he had the PCM replaced in 2016. Looking at the PCM tonight I found that it had 275 HP PCM (or at least that is what the sticker says). 2 questions.
-I know these motor are all the same 200-275. Does this PCM reflash it to 275?
- Since the PCM is a 2016 and my DTS module is a 2016 will they link up or will I still need to get an older generation DTS module?
