Verado no crank at key

Hello

Just purchased a 200 verado theft recovery have replaced the PCM as it was shorted out when harness cut. Engine starts and runs when jumped at the starter. Have tried other PCM and same issue, have also replaced the key switch. Just wondering if this has to be set up as the binnacle needs to be to work with the engine by a mercury technician?

Sounds like you lost the clean power. There is a power connection that is fused that gets hooked straight to the battery.


This is not a system that you can diagnose and repair with out knowledge of the system and its functions. Sorry
