My 2020 V8 Verado 250s spec belts, impeller, and Tstat be replaced at 300hrs. I've run Yammies hundreds of hours and many years w.out touching any of those things. Do these things really need to be changed?! I mean damn...don't want to void warranty of course, but seems extreme at 300hrs, almost like they're trying to keep shops' pipelines full.
On a related note, anyone fabricated a flywheel holding tool for these motors? Damn tool is $75 for a socket welded to a gear that fits in the center hole to catch the bolt heads. What the hell else can I use?!
