Upgrading from 1994 Sea Ray

"I've had my 1st boat for over a year and have decided to stick with boating so I'm looking to upgrade from my 1994 Sea Ray 22 runabout to something a little bigger and a lot newer but used. Seeing mostly 1999 to 2002 Sea Ray, Four Winns, Regal in the 24 to 28 ft.weekender range and still affordable at $28K to 35K. Looking for opinions/experiences on these builders and Volvo vs. Merc as well. I'm also assuming about 15% wiggle room in asking price. Is that reasonable? Thanks!"

"all 3 probably pretty equal brands. go with the one that suits. keep in mind maint,and service access. in my opinion, the volvo is by far the superior drive. especially in salt water."
