Unknown Yamaha built Mariner Year Model

Can someone please help me identify the year of this Mariner?
I've established its Yamaha built based on the 689 code. Somewhere between 1979 - 1985. But thats as close as I've got after hours if online searching and reading charts I can't find this code anywhere.
This plate is the only available information on the motor.
