Trying to find Idle specs for 1975 Mercruiser Chevy Vega inboard

Im tyring to located the Idle specs for 1975 4cyl mercruiser chevy vega inboard motor.

850 ish in gear, IN THE WATER

600-650 lower the better in the water warm motor in gear.

you don't think it would be easier to say you have a 2.5 or did you actually pull the motor out of the vega.

Vega motor?? Chevy II yes, but Vega???

If you can get a Chevy vega motor to run you're doing pretty good! That was my first car what a POS! Broke down on me so many times I think I abandoned it on the side of the road in disgust. Don't think I would trust it for a boat motor.
