trim motor 1999 5.0 L

99 baja sidewinder with 5.0 litre,original motor and trim pump,noticed water in my trim reservoir, very milky looking, in and out trim works fine but I am sure this is a problem. suggestions of where I should start to fix would be greatly appreciated.

Get all old fluid out of plastic resevoir, Refill with fresh fluid (merc power steering / trim pump fluid). Runs system up and down several times and repeat removing and replaceing fluid until it stays clean with little or no water mixed.

No real way to just remove all milky fluid and replace it, just need to cycle clean oil thru until it stays clean

thanks again kghost for the information, I refilled and dumped over a gallon of (believe it or not) less expensive fluid. Refilled with merc fluid, pump runs fine, although its stuck in the back of my mind the water came from somewhere,keep a eye on it, may have another post at a later date. Thanks again Kghost.
