What’s up fellas, I have a 87’ Johnson GT150 that seems to be having some trim issues. I recently purchased my vessel and the previous owner showed me a “relay box” within the engine compartment, that if you tap on, fixes the issue. He said it’s happened once or twice in 20 years, but obviously it’s been more frequent because after a night of fishing it happened to me! The down trim works perfectly but it won’t trim up, I removed the engine cover, tapped on the part he showed me and sure enough the up trim started working again. Anyone know what this part would be so I can replace it? Is it an easy fix, or a major electrical issue? I will supply a photo of the small box I tapped on to get the trim working again when I’m off of work. Thanks in advance, Triston!
