I've have the sickness of collecting small outboard engines, had 9 in the last year, fix them up run them for a little bit and sell cheap or give away. Just was given this one, starts easy, pumps water, runs great. Just would like to fine tune idle speed and check wot. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
Quite old. Possibly 1992 or before. Almost no parts (especially not carb kits) available, aside from 334650210M IMPELLER (9.9B2-18E2 & 9.9/15/20 4-STROKE), $23.31 or 362873221M WATER PUMP REPAIR KIT 9.9/12/15/18-F15/18-F20, $50.68. Similar to the 18D. Owner's manual for the D model is at http://www.tohatsu.com/tech_info/own_man_pdfs/Toh99C_15C_18D.pdf and will have idle and wot rpm specs. The carb adjustments for mixture are as for any adjustable-jet carb: Warm motor, attach shop tach, set idle speed, adjust mixture to max rpm at that idle stop, then reset idle stop, and repeat about 3 or 4 times, until best combination of mixture and idle stop are achieved. Finally richen the jet about 1/4 turn for stability and then final-adjust idle stop.
