Have a 2014 Mercury 150hp 4 stroke, had to have the trim unit replaced due to a failure and now have an issue with the top side tilt limit. With the motor stopped and not running the unit will only tilt up to where the prop is just under the water, before the unit was replaced I could tilt it clear out of the water. This is extremely handy when trying to get fishing line off the prop if you have kids you can hopefully relate. I have plenty of clearance where the motor wont hit anything so that is not an issue. I know there is an open orange wire with calibration sticker on it and on my old 115 4 stroke there was two wires that you plugged together to do this. Not sure on the 150 how it works and can't find anything on-line. any assistance on how to re-calibrate would be appreciated.
