Thread Count of Johnson 50 crankshaft

So, im a monkey and tried to remove the fly wheel off my J50tleuc and used the improper way of trying to tap the crankshaft threaded area where i took the flywheel nut off and of course damaged a thread. can anyone please tell me what size die i need to use to re thread the top two threads.

Just use a file to get rid of those 2 threads.

I thought about that just made me nervous, i guess if i taper it correctly it will thread the nut smoothly.

Is the flywheel off now ?----Perhaps you can put a steel ruler ( scale ) beside it and count over 1 ".-----My thread pitch gauge is not handy at the moment to check a few crankshaft threads here.
