Thermostat on 4 cylinder 75HP, where is it

Hi All,
Just want to do a full service on the boat motor I have on a Glastron V156. Its a 75HP, 1986 model 4 cylinder 2 stroke, made in Belgium. Thought as part of changing the impeller Id also replace the thermostat but I cant find it. Is it possible it does not have one? If it doesnt have one would be the only boat motor I know of that doesn't.

Nope----There are lots of Mercury motors that do not have a thermostat.----Most inline 6 models never had one !!
 
OK wow, thanks for that, Ive been looking on and off for the past month. Obviously doesn't cause an issue, but you would think it would make it run differently in colder water and air temperatures.
