A friend of mine has an older Johnson outboard. Sorry I don’t have any more info on make model but it’s very similar to my 78 Johnson 85 horse with the same remote control. When he turns the ignition on the temp horn comes on and stays on. Motor will start but we are concerned something is wrong or maybe it’s just shorted and stuck on.
