Tell Tale Addition to 1965 Johnson 20 HP FD-19D

I want to add a Tell Tale water outlet to my 1965 Johnson 20 HP FD-19D.

I have ordered the elbow (#321886), the bulkhead (#321885), and the hose (321887).

My question is where do I drill the hole in the jacket - there is a pre-threaded outlet on one side.

Can I use this threaded location by drilling through the jacket or where would the best place be to drill the hole?

I have attached pictures for reference.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can take it right out of the thermostat housing on top there is a video on youtube to do it

The big blow hole on the backside isn't enough tell tale for you?

Maybe he cant see it from where he is operating the motor....it could be on a small pontoon or something.
