Suzuki to lowrance?

I have a 2018 Suzuki df200 with the smg4. So it doesn't require a interface cable. I bought a lowrance elite fs7 and attempted to get the Suzuki icon with engine data going but no cigar. I have my nmea 2000 backbone assembled and my power source is good. The lowrance is not recognizing the Suzuki as a data source. ????
