Starting problems after engine’s warm

I have a MerCruiser 2003, 6.2 L fuel injected engine after the boats been running for a half hour or longer shut it down doesn’t want to restart the engine cranks with no problem just won’t restart, if I put in neutral and give it throttle It starts Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
