Starter not disengaging?

My genset (kohler 5e) started running rough, on shutdown it sounds like starter is still running (but not engaged) had shut battery off to kill it.

It starts normaly each time but continues ro run.

Is that a starter issure or the Solnoid that is malfunctioning?

Replaced Solnoid, good to go!
