Finally go around to checking my fuel pressure on my BF250 (2013).
In the shop manual it says idle pressure should be 41psi-48psi.
I fired her up and right up front I was getting around 46psi. But over the course of about 5 minutes (just letting it run at idle) it dropped down to 38 psi and stayed there.
Is it possible it will do that if nothing changes to make the motor think it needs to keep pressure up, like say it is going into some sort of lean burn mode since it feels like it doesn't needs any more fuel other than what it can deliver at 38psi?
I did test the Fuel Pressure Regulator and it was functioning properly.
If this isn't normal, then I need to check the high pressure side fuel pump for proper operation as well as the high pressure side fuel filter for an obstruction.
