Small leak around tilt/trim ram shaft

1996 Mercury 115hp 2 stroke

Occasionally I have some fluid that leaks out from around ram shaft.

How can I fix this and is it an easy fix?

Do I have to pull the whole tilt and trim assembly off?

Got the tilt and trim unit off the boat, and cylinder cap removed. Now just cant figure out how to take either end of ram/piston off to so I can get the cap off to reseal the cap.

Any ideas or help?
