"1979 MCM470. The Morse brand throttle/shift handle has bemome very stiff, hard to move. I'm looking for a cause and noticed a gizmo connected to the linkage in the stern that has a clear plastic tube connected to the tilt pump reservour (or it looks like it does anyway). What the heck does this do? Could the old 30 wt motor oil in that gizmo have become like grease?"
