"Have any of you used the Merc

"Have any of you used the Mercury service manuals on CD before? I found one on ebay that is supposed to cover all years and motors up to 2000, and is supposed to be the same as the OEM shop manuals. All this for less than $10 seems to be too good to be true!

"All of my recent (1990's on) Merc manuals are on CD and yes, they are right from Merc.

I would suspect that whoever is selling these, if authentic, wears a patch over one eye and has a parrot sitting on his shoulder.

An individual service manual usually goes for about 80 bucks. My "collection" from Merc cost me a little over 400 bucks in CD form..."
