""O" rings work good on their own if given the chance to settle. I've just greased them up and assembled with out any leaks. If you get the wrong sealant, they will spin and glue them selves wrong. OMC has a "caramel colored" stuff that seems to work well as it is runny and thin. But grease works just as well and a bunch cheaper."
