Sealant used for water hose connection exit for tell tale

Was going to pull off the brass water connection where the water exits the block for the tell tale, looks to be RTV Silicone sealant used on the threads. I don't see any mention of it online that I can find. Just doing an inspection and replacement of the hose, so wanted to check before I break it open.

Do any of you know what is actually used on those threads for that fitting? I thought Silicone sealant as it is playable and grey.

my guess is, if anything, anti-seize.

Oh yeah, it could definitely be that, luckily I have a fresh tube of that after doing the lower end.

Do not use silicone anywhere on the cooling system,sometimes clogs cooling passages when pieces break off!
