I have an 85Hp Chrysler 3 cyl
I have an 85Hp Chrysler 3 cylinder. Serial #1013. I believe it's a 1982. My problem is running at high end. When the motor first starts it runs fine (cold). I get out on the lake and throttle up to full throttle and it runs fine for about 3-4 minutes and then shuts down. Pull a plug and it's dry. The only way I can get it started is with starting fluid after about 2 minutes of cranking. Once I get it started I can only take it off idle a bit and it will run all day. As soon as I throttle up again it shuts off.I took off carbs and cleaned. Primer bulb is hard so I assume there is plenty of fuel. I found a grounded wire in the wiring harness and repair it. No luck. Could it be the Module? Where can I get a good troubleshooting manual? HELP!!!!
