I changed all 4 risers in march.
One riser on port side is leaking alittle,
so im going to do that one again,i never used gasket sealer,should i use some and what kind????
I think some people use the black stuff any info would help."

"Where is it leaking? If just at the seal, remove and clean the surfaces good. Apply a <u>little</u> RTV balck or orange and reassemble. All should be fine."

If you use the factory gasket

If you use the factory gasket (#98127) do not use sealant. That is a graphite gasket and goes on dry. If you used an aftermarket gasket you may use sealant but I would definitely not use silicone. Stick with standard gasket compound.

its leaking right at the manifold gasket riser
and they were graphite gaskets.?????

"Don't forget to torque them down, run the engine up to operating temperature and let it cool down until cold. Then re-torque the fasteners and you should be good."
