Replacing Trigger Assembly - 1985 60 HP Mariner 3 cylinder

Removed the flywheel without marking the alignment with the crank, does it matter what position I put it back to? Thanks for any assistance
 
The hub is keyed to the crank. -If you just took out all the bolts on the hub that is a different situation.--------YES it does matter.---Post a picture of what you have now.-------------Carefull examination of rust / paint marks may help you get it back on exactly the same.
 
Common mistake ----Always pull the flywheel as one assembly , meaning the hub , flex plate and outer rim.--------Look at the paint / rust / marks around the bolt holes ,as it must go together EXACTLY the way it came apart.
