Replacing Rubber Hoses (boots)

I need to replace ther 4 water hoses, the large ones I call them boots, the upper & lower is there any trick to it ,has anyone done it before.

easiest if you remove the exhaust manifolds. I wouldn't call them boots. exhaust hose couplings maybe....boot is something else entirely.
