"In another post it was suggested that the owner of a boat with AQ125A engine replace the circulating pump with a marine pump, not automotive. Is this also true of the AQ131C which uses a different pump (VP p/n 1378809 or 271975) than the AQ125A? If VP pump is used, is it supplied with the gasket and sealing ring pictured in the parts diagram?"

"The AQ125 has a different pump than the AQ131C. Unlike the AQ125, a rubber hose goes on the discharge side on the AQ131, so an much cheaper automotive pump does fit in your AQ131 engine (lucky you!!!)."
