Replacing 22 yr old Mercruiser 7.4L Circulating Pumps as Preventative Maintenance

Should I replace my 22 year old Mercruiser 7.4L circulating pumps as preventative maintenance? I don't have any issues with them on my 1997 FWC engines but I currently have my exhaust hoses, mufflers and elbows off to change my elbow/riser gaskets and have easy access to the circulating pumps.

What is the typical lifespan of circulating pumps on Mercruiser 7.4L FWC engines?

Are the aftermarket marine circulating pumps as good as the Mercruiser circulating pumps? I noticed they are half the price.

If the seals aren't leaking I'd leave them alone, for many auto pumps go 30 years easily without changing, and they run up lots more hours of operation.

The pump in my 86 Ranger was still going strong 32 years later.
