What the best material to repair damaged motor cover corners? Its an evinrude 70 cover. Fiberglass?

"The hoods are made out of fiberglass, so you can use any auto body/boat filler - and Krazy glue for plastic works good to seal a crack. I have also personally used spot putty if the damage isn't too severe. It all sands down nice. If you are going to repaint, I tend to put on 4 or 5 coats of paint, put on the new decals then followed by 4 or 5 coats of clear coat to seal it (I use a can of paint and a can of clearcoat to finish 1 hood). The hoods are pretty tough - you can use a power sander on them - treat it just like wood - finishing with fine (320grit) before painting."
