removing trim assembly 1990 200HP Johnson 2 stroke

Hi fellas. I am new to the outboard side of the house, having owned three boats with mercruiser inboards. I got the opportunity to buy a larger boat with twin outboards for a very good price so I jumped on it. One of the engines has a bad trim motor. I got a new trim motor, and took out all of the bolts and the shaft to remove the hydraulic assembly because you cannot access the last screw to remove the pump otherwise. However, the assembly will not come off. It wiggles, but will not come off and I'll be dipped if I can figure out what is keeping it in place. I dont want to force it and damage the gil bracket prying on it, is there some trick to removing this assembly that anyone can share with the newb? It is a 1990 200HP 2 stroke setup.
