i have to change the spa

"hi,
i have to change the sparkplug cables.
I am trying to remove the flywheel by using to large pry bars and taping with a hammer on the the flywheel nut, but it is not coming out.
Is it possible to remove it in this manner without a puller?
how strong should I hit on the nut with the hammer?

any suggestions?

"be very careful. thats Your crankshaft You are beating up. best to get a puller, and no more than a tap."
