remove concealed control unit lever

Hello-

Does anyone know how to remove the control lever from the unit in the picture? I thought it was model #5006561, but mine doesn't have the plate with two screws behind the BRP cover. When I remove the cover, I see a black disc. There are no screws, I also checked on the bottom of the arm.

Any help would be appreciated.
