Hi,
I have a 60 Hp Chrysler where the lower end had water in the gear oil. I want to rebuild the lower end, but I am having trouble with part numbers. It is a 609HA, which i understand would have been built between 1974-76. Its gearbox is a one-piece casting and the seals, bearings and one pinion gear needs to be replaced ( as well as the impeller of course). It seems like this 60 must have been a low production run, as it hardly exists on catalogs.
Any advice on how I might find what the parts numbers are ( eg is the gearbox equivalent to 55 HP number XXX, or 75 HP number XXXX ????? ...and does an exploded view of that box with part numbers exist somewhere?
