" I have a inboard ski boat with the 5.7 black scorpion motor which has the plastic 1 piece raw water pump body. The motor has 210 hours and I have already put a rebuild kit in. I was thinking of installing a crank driven raw wp and purchasing pulleys, alt. brackets from indamar(the 5.7l carb motor has a simple set up). Anyone have the same problems with the plastic pump eroding away? The old 2 piece design had 2 stainless steel wear plates. Anyone know of a good on line source for these specific type of parts? "
