Ran over a bouy today.

I was putting around the harbor, on my way back to the marina and I passed over a small inflateable rubber bouy. It was under the boat for a few seconds, then it made a noise and popped back up to the surface.

I'm not sure what it hit under there. Should I be concerned about a small bouy like this damaging the props? I was at idle speed when it happened.

I doubt it. Ran over a submerged plank that killed both engines dead. No samage.

I would take a dive to check for line. But otherwise if there are no vibrations, your probably ok.

I took her out for a stroll the following day. Everything is fine. No funny noises or vibrations. Still handles and maneuvers great.

Good deal! I was "positive" I had bent something after running over that plank, but all was well that time as well. The mind can trick you!
